Objectives:
- Decrease the effort and inefficiencies of data gathering and complex spreadsheet reporting methods
- Provide a robust menu reporting environment as well as a flexible, easy to use ad hoc reporting environment
- Improve the documentation and training available to users about the data and the software functionality
Scope:
- Define opportunities for standard report templates and menus
- Determine what data is not readily available and/or needs to be manually keyed into reports
- Coordinate definition of organization reporting structures with Budgeting & Planning effort (i.e., review SR codes, fund number usage)
- Determine what data cleansing needs to be done while building the data warehouse (i.e., account titles)
- Address reconciliation issues (i.e., from HRMS detail to FIS balances)
- Address data quality concerns and controls
- Determine profile data issues
- Determine ad hoc reporting needs
